Residency

Facility

The Blue Hill Peninsula is home to fishermen, boat builders, farmers, environmentalists, musicians, and a wide variety of artisans. The dramatic coastline of the Eggemoggin Reach, from which the residency has taken its name, has been an inspiration to generations of artists, writers, and creative thinkers. Reach Projects is located on the Peninsula between the towns of Brooklin and Blue Hill. Artists come for two weeks to a month, and have the use of a two-bedroom house and a free standing studio on the property.

Selection Process

The selection process for Reach Projects is by invitation. At this time, there is no application process. Selectors anonymously identify mid-career artists from diverse backgrounds and artistic practices with an interest in the cultural and environmental aspects of the Blue Hill Peninsula to participate in the Residency.
